What is Walled-Off Necrosis?
Walled-off necrosis (WON) is a complication of pancreatitis characterized by a collection of necrotic

- Weight loss
Diagnosis

- Imaging studies (CT scan or MRI)
- Blood tests to evaluate pancreatic function
Treatment
Treatment options for WON may include:
- Monitoring for smaller collections
- Endoscopic drainage
- Surgical intervention for larger or symptomatic collections
- Antibiotics if infection is suspected
